Motivational Monday #4

Posted by Unknown at 10:53 AM 0 comments
It's Monday again and you know what that means,  it's time for motivational post.  Am I the only one who reads that in a voice of Dailygrace? yes? :)

I'm sorry I haven't done this ages, i have been a little bit busy and i just didn't feel like writing. And i can't force myself to do so. :)

Today's quote is..

This quote by Theodore Roosevelt is brilliant and I should remind this myself more often.  The thing is when you compare your things to people who have more or less you're gonna love your things less.
I'm am a sucker for this. You could give me, let's say most amazing pair of shoes, and i will obviously be super excited about them, but as soon as i see someone withe slightly better shoes i feel like mine are rubbish and not worth wearing. It just not with shoes, it was just an example, same goes with everything else - make it bags, clothes, hair styles, make up, weight, height, everything.

I don't compare myself to others as much as I used to, because i didn't like that it made me feel unworthy, unsatisfied.  I'm happy with what i have and i feel good about it.
Nobody has everything. You might have a friend who live in a beautiful house and has friends over every day, but she still might be lonely. You might live in a small flat alone, but you'll never feel alone.

Next time you're comparing your life to others, thing about what you have , and what do you love about your life. Comparing your life to others is rubbish, just try to focus on what you have, not what others have more.

Fine wine in the sunset.

Hey how you doing? It's been a long time since i wrote anything down. As you can see it's Monday again and I'm not writing my Monday feature. I'm so sorry, I just don't feel like writing it right now. My apologies.

It was G's birthday. She was working on her b-day so me and my brother though we should surprise her. What we did is, we went to a shopping centre where she works, bought shit loads of flowers, sorry about my language. My brother wrote a sing "It's G's birthday, give her flowers! " So we passed out all the flowers to strangers and asked them to give them to her. She was freaking out, she sent me message telling me that someone is sending her flowers through strangers.  I hope she will remember this day. :)

we also bought her couple of balloons :)

On the same day as her birthday we went to the open air cinema, which was so nice.

Movie they were showing  was "Quartet", starring with Maggie Smith. I love her :) We didn't finish the movie because it was getting cold and our back started hurting so we decided that it will be best for us to leave.

We also went running. Thing about the running is, that I actually like to run, but I'm just lazy and too fluffy to run a long distance. Gotta work on that. :D

On Friday night we went to a beach. Not because we wanted to take sun baths or anything. G's brother gave her a bottle of wine, so we needed to finish that.  We got to see sunset, which was beautiful and everything was good, amazing, perfect.

I haven't been home for the entire weekend. I was staying with my friend. Which was a lot of fun. We went out on Saturday and we met some Germans, they were friendly. I'm pretty sure they thought i want to get them drunk, because i kept sharing my drinks with them. Anyway , I was talking with a German gay when he asked me if I'm from UK. I was surprised, like why would he thought that. He said i have a strong British accent. I wonder how drunk i was - my English sounds like a potato trying to mate with carrot. Seriously.
But the night was good i had fun :)

Hope you had a pretty amazing week yourself :)
