I'm sorry I haven't done this ages, i have been a little bit busy and i just didn't feel like writing. And i can't force myself to do so. :)
Today's quote is..
This quote by Theodore Roosevelt is brilliant and I should remind this myself more often. The thing is when you compare your things to people who have more or less you're gonna love your things less.
I'm am a sucker for this. You could give me, let's say most amazing pair of shoes, and i will obviously be super excited about them, but as soon as i see someone withe slightly better shoes i feel like mine are rubbish and not worth wearing. It just not with shoes, it was just an example, same goes with everything else - make it bags, clothes, hair styles, make up, weight, height, everything.
I don't compare myself to others as much as I used to, because i didn't like that it made me feel unworthy, unsatisfied. I'm happy with what i have and i feel good about it.
Nobody has everything. You might have a friend who live in a beautiful house and has friends over every day, but she still might be lonely. You might live in a small flat alone, but you'll never feel alone.
Next time you're comparing your life to others, thing about what you have , and what do you love about your life. Comparing your life to others is rubbish, just try to focus on what you have, not what others have more.
Toodlepip.
